So, since only nonmagical light can't illuminate the area of Darkness, and Continual Flame was cast as a third level spell, it illuminates the area and isn't dispelled. Can you cast Continual Flame on an object then break the object into a bunch of continual flame pieces? What then happens if you cast mending on the pieces afterwards?
